A Bit Too Long

Hello~ readers. I'm finally got my butt to sit down and start on my blog again.

So sorry for those countless inactivity on my blog. Don't bother to scroll down to see my last post 'cause it's way back in February when i was waiting for my college approval. And good news! Got into college but i had to retake an exam which was difficult, doubt i could get a credit on it, i did my best but even my teacher said the paper was difficult.

Anyways things are getting busier than i thought. Especially college. Even though there's only 4 subjects to handle the work load the school gives is what wears me off. There's homework, revision, surprise tests, quizzes; a mother-load. But it's all fine with me, it's way much better than to lay on the bed and look up at the ceiling and start questioning every existence. It's scary, and not healthy.

College has been fun so far, made new friends...slowly learning them, their names, age, classes, "personality" hahaha. The subjects too have been fun, especially Psychology. A healthy way to learn people actually. Biology was good, my new tutor teaches in a fun way, with fun quizzes and tests in forms of crossword puzzles. English went pretty boring and slow in the beginning but when it comes to the essay writing, i just couldn't control myself! I keep on over writing! Hahaha such a bad habit. And as for Geography....i don't know, it seems i can never get the perfect answer with the perfect mark for the questions. Let's just hope things would go smooth up til the end.

I did have my mind to be a little bit more active on the blog but there's time when you just get back home from school, you just flop on the bed like a boneless exhausted human being! And there's another time when i finally had the "Create a post" on the computer tab and all the ideas just drain out! Blank head is what was left. My mind doesn't even know which letter to type on first. I always wonder...why does ideas just disappear so fast but during showers, ideas just come right in like major sales in shops.

Well, i want to make this as a challenge. I want to try if i could post on the blog at least once a week or twice maybe and more during some holidays. And another announcement, as for my story " Hidden Beneath The Smile " I would pause that story and think much further about the story line. But not to worry, i do have another story that is pending, i just need to arrange the story line a bit. And soon this announcement would be posted on http://www.thestorytellersseries.blogspot.com/

So, i hope what i'm planning to do will be fulfilled soon enough. Adios now, hope to blog  soon~ :)

Dreaming Neverland

Oh My God! I think i'm still addicted to Peter Pan! Help Me!!

Believe me, this all started from a simple glimpse of the movie on TV and it grew into this big addiction that i can't seem to control it. It certainly changed my taste in things for example i'm becoming more fond of the colour green than ever before and i am even considering renovating my room into a mini Neverland, maybe...i don't know.

Oh about a week back, me and Dad got out of the house to do a little window shopping and look what i found at U-HOME at Times Square. A gorgeous bed!! I love it so much! So much!! It's so pretty!! I can imagine it in my room already!
It's an IKEA design Day bed! SO pretty and white! It's a single converter! Which means the single bed can be pulled out to i guess a queen sized bed! You can extend it from the 3 drawers. And those 3 drawers can help me put some clothes in it! or Books! And the white paint is just wonderful.
IT'S A PERFECT BED!

And i was thinking the bed would look better with a wall with this shade of green behind it!
Apple Green~! So Nice! And with that green wall i want to put a little silhouette of tree branches, a stick type . The green paint is just gonna be on one wall and the other 3 walls would be in a light creamy white colour. These whites i have right now just shows plainess. And with all the mess cleaned up and my closet restored, it would be a
NEVERLAND BED ROOM!

See, i am getting addicted to Peter Pan. Oh and i recently finished reading Peter Pan by J.M .Barrie via EBook. i cried in the end. And i swear, if i had the real book right now, i would still read Peter Pan until the pages fall off the bindings.
THE STORY IS SO MUCH FUN! AND IT'S LITERATURE!
i know right~

Anyway, this post is supposed to be reserved for my most recent dream i had and it's the perfect Neverland adventure dream! It was a fun dream that when i woke up i quickly took my phone and noted down any details i could still remember about the dream. I never like forgetting a good dream. Ok here it is..

*****

I was with my bestfriends, going out shopping in Times Square and as we were window shopping a deep hope suddenly appeared in the middle of the mall, and we were all sucked in. We all dropped what looked like a room, a sort of a hotel room looking out at an ocean and the floor was covered in sand but the room it self or the house was in a tree, that's the reason why it's also shady yet windy. We all stood up and there he was, little Peter Pan aka Jeremy Sumpter (watch the Peter Pan 2003 movie) Each of use played with Peter, imagining ourselves as indians or lost boys. Ifa, one of my bestfriend..mysteriously buried a goldfish.

And one morning just as i got out from the bed in that room, i think i got hit behind the head and fell, kind f knocked out but my eyes were still open and i saw my friends and peter on the floor being tied up, but as usual my eyes started to shut. The next thing i knew, me and my bestfriends were tied up together and there were pirates. Captain Hook's pirate, Noodler was with us that time and Smee was holding down Peter Pan and of course Hook, cameout slowly from the door. Hook told us that Peter MUST SEND US BACK HOME. But we didn't want to at all, we were having fun, in Neverland. But Hook was mad that we didn't want to go home so he kind of ruined Ifa's goldfish's grave and she shouted. Then Hook took Peter in the house, but we could still see Peter from the door with Captain Hook's sliver hook hanging on Peter's clothes. We all were in tears and when it seemed like our last moments in Neverland and as we were place on the sands, we wrote a note in the sand hoping that if we ever leave and Peter's life is spared from the hook, Peter would see the note we made.

When suddenly, with his cleverness, Peter pulled a prank and he's away from the clutches of Captain Hook and the laughed and asked the pirates to catch him. Peter cut the ropes from us and he ran around making the pirates chase. Hook went down to try and catch Peter. Me and my friend split up and every pirates tried to catch us. I was running from Noodler, screaming but up until i reached a balcony and looked down to see Hook still chasing Peter i suddenly shouted

"Why do you want to hurt us? Why do you want to hurt Peter? Is it because you don't have anyone to play with? Or..you don;t have a MOTHER? A mother that takes care of you and give you toys and play with you"

Everyone stopped for a moment when i shouted that, even Peter stopped. Then, he gave his mesmerizing smirk and yet again fooled Captain Hook. And the ticking sound came, becoming louder by the moment, but
someone caught me from behind and i screamed, i tried to scream the way those girlish screams are done but i couldn't. But when i did.....

i woke up and started to jot down what i remember from this dream.

*****

I really wish to have that dream again, i really do! SO MUCH! See, i guess i am addicted to Peter Pan. But i figure out that the only way to get out from this addiction is to get myself to be bored with the addiction. HAHAAHA i know, a tough one. I'm trying now, although...i just go to read more of it.

Oh and by the way, i finally got the Peter Pan 2003 movie on DVD! YAY!

I shall go to my Neverland in my head again, it's getting late. Goodnight =)

E-Books or Real Books

Or

Do ask yourself now, which would you prefer E-Books or Real Books? And Why?

If you chose E-books, could it be you preferred it better because it's more modern? More edgy? and Portable?

And if you chose real books, why?

Nowadays bookstores are struggling to sell their books. They're giving off discounts, free books and good deals, this is what is happening now in London. Since the the mini tablets that performs the same as computers, they offer an application for electronic books. Books that you can read either online or with the use of downloading it first. Sure, it's a nice treat to have many books just on the palm of your hand but have we lost the idea on which we started love reading from?

Books and yes, REAL books. Books with papers in them, with every single letter printed in ink. Books that comes in paperbacks or hardcovers. It is from books that we actually gain our interest in reading and also where our imagination starts to go wild with every story you read.

Yes it's true that e-books and real books contains the similar contents of a book. I'm leaving all that to your judgement, but...

In my opinion, real books are better. Do we rely so much on technologies nowadays that it has changed our perspectives upon books? Before there were the mini tablets, the internet and heck, even the computer, our fingers has brushed pages of books of different kinds, the story books, dictionaries, encyclopedias.

The way I like my book is that when i turn each page of a book i choose, it'll make my imagination leap and wonder how the story is going to continue.

The sound of flipping pages, the hug that you give the book after you finished reading it and you loved it,  even the smell of the book itself, the smell that shows it might be old or a freshly published book. Sometimes I would sniff the book I'm reading and trust me, i'm not the only one who does that.

What a libraries built for? Keeping books. Yes, it's true. Isn't it weird to find a library that has mini tablets on the shelves instead of binded books of every story and shades of colour. But if you'll like to stick with technology, i'm not blaming, it's always your choice anyway, but remember where all the e-books stories have once came from =D
By the way, i'm currently waiting for my copy of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan book to arrive. Quite a children's . book, but i'm just young at heart. Tata now~ bye~ =)

Happy Thoughts and A Little Fairy Dust

All children grow up, except one.
"With a little fairy dust and happy thoughts.."

"To live, would be an awfully big adventure" -Peter Pan

Oh the story of Peter Pan and the Neverland.
Simply one of my favourite stories to read when i was young.
I would love to read it again if i could,
well could find the book and please i want a good illustration, not a Disney again.
Hmmm i might as well be on a search for the book then.
Challenge accepted!

Anyway, *sigh* Peter Pan,
i've been kind of addicted to the story, pretty much the movie.
The 2003 REAL LIFE Peter Pan movie and not a cartoon.
That what makes the movie
GOOD!

I watched it on the television a few days back,
it's been a long time since i last watched it, years maybe.
From that day i watched it on the TV,
I've been begging from my Twitter page to watch it again,
to get the DVD of it.

But desperate times calls for desperate measures.
I decided to watch it from YouTube today.
And i did watch it....repeatedly...3 times in one day..full time.
 I can't help it!

The thought of never growing up,
living in a world where there's adventures every day
and flying by simply thinking of happy thoughts and a little fairy dust,
it's just make you smile because you know that was what
you could have wished for before you grow up.

And i just realized when i watched it,
the actor for Captain James Hook was, Jason Isaacs!
The actor for Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series!
And Jeremy Sumpter, actor for Peter Pan ( so cute during that time)
acted in a CSI: Miami episode as a teen killer!
Wow, looked like Neverland didn't do any good
HAHAHAHA

I really recommend to watch this movie, i really do.
Just give it a try perhaps.
It's full of adventures and surprisingly with romance in the story.
 You'll learn from there;

A kiss is a thimble,
while a thimble is a kiss.

Well, i'll be off now, to go to my own little Neverland where i can visit every night and all i have to do is think of happy thoughts and close my eyes.    Good Night~!

It Paid Off

Joy.
Sadness.
Relieved.
Unsatisfied.

These were the emotions i felt all at the same time. That one moment that left me waiting for it for many days and many sleepless nights.

O'LEVEL RESULTS

UGH the pain of waiting for it. Dreadful i tell you. It's like every time you try to relax and have a bit of fun, the fact of knowing the result is just around the corner is just a killjoy. But it's alright now, the weight over the shoulders are gone now.

I received a satisfying result...well not to my own standards i think. But i'm happy and so much thankful for the results i got, 5 0's!
Alhamdullilah, i'm so thankful to Allah for helping me go through the tough times.

so, i got...

ENGLISH - B
BAHASA MELAYU - D
GEOGRAPHY - B
MATH - E
PHYSICS - B
CHEMISTRY - C
BIOLOGY - A (yay!)
COMPUTER - D

Well those grades from A - C are counted credits for O's. Maths, i struggled but i did my very best. Computer, i was really trying to get out from it. But Malay, *sigh* from what i heard from many sources, the the govt' made the Malay average credit mark higher this time. And my Malay teacher said my mark was actually a credit. Damn it all!!

Colleges here, they want Malay a credit for O' levels before you are allowed to enroll into college. But with exceptional relation to other subject grades, like mine, all sciences a credit plus an English credit could be exceptional, only you have to write a letter and convince the ministry to let you attend college at the same time retake the June O'levels Malay subject. I don't mind retaking the Malay O'levels again, i'll do my very best to aim for a credit...just let me in the college again! I don't want to let it go because of a mere few marks under the credit line. There was a percentage of participants didn't make it to a credit for Malay O'levels but just below it, which without the raise of average marks would counted as a credit. *sigh* hope things go well.

Anyway i can say, my parents are proud of me, achieving the 5 O's. Now...i thinking of a little present for that little A grade i got and the 3 B's and 1 C. A little "positive reinforcement" perhaps. That's a psychology word for you.

Hmmm, it was just last Saturday the result came. Now i have around 2 weeks of holiday to get things straighten up.

Tata now, i'm going to figure out what else to post.=)

College On Trail

Hello my sweet readers! I'm back and I have to say I'm sorry that it has been a while since I last blogged and I left off with a New Year rhyme to say good bye to 2010 and hello to 2011.

Yes, 2011! Well the year started good, surprisingly exciting as well. If I'm not mistaken, there was a post about starting college early and since I got selected to be one of the trail batches for college, I said to myself " Eh, what the heck. Might as well give it a try than spending another 2 months of holiday"

I know when you read that you must think I'm nuts trading in holidays for school. To be honest I was already bored and I mean really really really bored from the NOT even 1 month holiday. It's funny that during long holidays I tend to forget how to write. So, yes basically to avoid further forgetting simple studies I chose to enroll college to sharpen things up a bit. Get my head back to the game.

College so far is fun. And FYI the college I go to now is Meragang Sixth Form. Six form here is considered college. the first taste of college was awkward, you know the feeling that you get when go to another school. Yup, that was the feeling only maybe worse because during our trial time at college we have to wear out previous school uniform! I know, OMG! and I just realised that college here is not like the college in America or is it any closer to the high school there as well. There's no bullies trashing your lunch tray, no atomic wedggies only one thing that we have to becareful when it comes to seats at the canteen....

DO NOT DROP YOUR CHAIR OR MAKE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG A FAIL... Or else expect a loud boo or woo from the seniors. It's a major embarrassment if it happened.

The subject Herr has a good selection. It's wise and so obvious that choosing a subject that is to your forte is essential. Take a subject and don't understand, don't bother to take it for A levels. Oh the classes! OMG! If segways are provided it would be a grand but NO. You got only 5 minutes to get from one class to another. The classes are far and if only you're lucky, your classes might be in the same wing of the building. And if you ever think you have time to go and let some load or water out in the toilet, don't bother it would be tough luck cause you won't have the minutes to reach to your next destination in time. Best way is to go during break or lunch. And if you ca't hold itkuch longer be sure to be in your class first that way the teaher would know you ain't escaping.

Oh there isnt much signal connection there as well, LOL. A way to stop using phones in class.

Well I guess that's it for now. I got to revise. Some teachers in this college give surprise tests.

Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011

Good & Bad.
Happy & Sad.
Laughter & Cries.

It's not wonder why, that you 2010 have given me a lot this year.
Advices were given, tho some went out the ear.
Now I'm counting on you 2011, for i have no fear.
Bring on what you have, but do be a dear.
Bring my friendship not far, but even near.

The future is, i will not know.
But for what i'm sure that here won't snow.
So there 2011, that's my Welcome greeting to you.
And for you 2010, it's about time to toodle-loo~ =)

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

Hidden Beneath The Smile [Chapter 3]

The night wind blew and whistles into the night. No clouds were in sight, only the twinkling stars and the bright moon that illuminates the night.

Charlotte was in her bedroom, alone just as she likes it. Her room was messy, but not messy in terms of clothes on the floor and the sorts of rubbish; instead her room was messy of books. Books on the floor, books on the bed, books in boxes, well she can’t help it to keep her room from being flooded with books. Her cabinet was full of it and not one more book could fit in. She asked her parents if she could have bookshelves. She was still waiting for the answer and so to cooperate with the books that she already has, not to mention the books she wanted to buy; Charlotte keeps her other books in stacks on the floor, on her study table, underneath furniture and at the corner of her bed. Books are Charlotte’s one way ticket to get away from the chaos in her house.

“Do you know what time it is now?!” a man exclaimed. The voice could be heard inside Charlotte’s room, the voice was muffled but still audible. The man’s voice belonged to Charlotte’s father.

“Looks like Mum’s home late. They’re going to fight again.” Charlotte mumbled under her breath, letting out a heavy sigh.

Charlotte was not new to the quarreling that seems to echo through the whole house. Although the house looked so friendly and happy from outside. It must have been the paint, because inside the house was far from being called happy. Charlotte would come home from school everyday having her smile turned upside down by the time she reaches home. She knows the routine and she knows she won’t like it one bit.

“I had work okay!” a woman exclaimed. The woman’s voice belonged to Charlotte’s mother

“Working hours stops at 5 in the afternoon and you’re back at 9?!” replied Dad.

Charlotte rolled her eyes and stuck in a pair of earphones from her iPod with some of her favorite country rock songs playing. She rest on her bed, turned her position towards her window and stared at the night sky with the moon in its fullest. While her parents were still arguing outside her bedroom, she begins to reminisce of how all of this had started.

The house was quiet; there was not a sound of laughter or a conversation. Dad was always in the extra bedroom, not in the bedroom with Mum. He looked miserable every time Charlotte sees him. Charlotte could hear sobbing from Dad when she was getting ready for tuition. She wanted to ask what was wrong, but she didn’t dare, yet she was still curious.

One afternoon, Dad picked her up from school which was shocking for Charlotte as this opportunity was seldom. In the car it was deadly quiet, only the revving of the engines was heard and nothing else. Soon, Dad broke the silence.

“Charlotte dear, you know I love you right?” Dad asked.

“Of course Dad, I know. What’s going on Dad?” Charlotte answered

“Charlotte, I want you to know, whatever happens, me and your Mum loves you.”

Charlotte’s head swam. Her mind was filled with the worse scenarios she could think of. Death? Illness? Adopted? Her heart was thumping against her chest. She was waiting for the answer for the whole week but yet she was afraid to hear it.

“Your Mum is…with another man” Dad said.

The world suddenly stopped for Charlotte. Dad was still talking, she listens but kept quiet. Her heart begins to beat slower. Her head throbs as she takes in everything that she heard from Dad. Their whole journey home, Charlotte sat still and kept quiet and in her head the word DIVORCE kept showing in bold letters. When they reached home, Charlotte walked straight into her bedroom and finally cried. A kind of news like that was a shock and the journey from school to back home was long enough for Charlotte to hold in. She cried into her pillow, thinking that such a thing couldn’t be true. But then she looked back at the events that happened the whole week, it was all coming together to point out one answer, scandal and to think to what it leads which is divorce, Charlotte would cry again. After a few minutes, Charlotte sat up and tried to stop crying. She kept telling herself that everything would be alright, but it was silly and impossible. As she reached for a tissue, a flashback of the past  she had, her childhood life when her parents were always happy, always smiling and never fought and to think it won't happen again. That was it, her weakness. Charlotte cried even more.

Then, there was a knock on the door. Charlotte was sure not to make her sobbing audible. She sat up, went to a mirror and wiped her tears away, rubbing her face to make sure her face was not tear-stained. She calmed down and opened the door. Dad was there.

“Are you okay?” Dad asked calmly, knowing that she had been crying as he could see her eyes and nose were red, although no tears were visible.

“Yes...” her voice choked. Charlotte couldn’t hold it much longer, tears started to roll down her cheeks. Dad opens his arm and gave a hug. She cried in Dad’s arms. Dad explained to her that she needed to know the truth earlier before things get worse as he comfort her. Charlotte understood but she just couldn’t believe it.

Present day

Charlotte opened her eyes. Still gazing at the night sky and her list of country rock songs were about to end, a tear rolled on the side of her cheeks. It was half past ten and the quarreling had stopped with a slam of a door. She let out a sigh knowing, that day when she knew what was the cause of all that was happening was when things had never been the same again. It was also from that day on, Dad was more suspicious of Mum where ever she goes or what ever she does and the relationship between father and daughter became stronger from then on.

Narnia~ Ooooo Lion King Is Still Better

I'm sure you readers have watched Narnia before. First movie was extraordinary! All the action, the fantasy. But what i experience for Narnia's sequel and the 3rd movie...that it was getting rather boring. Maybe the movie is not fully my type, maybe it's because i never read the books. I don't know, maybe it's one of those reasons.

I recently watched the 3rd Narnia movie, through out the whole movie it reminds me of The Lion King, because of Aslan i guess. *sigh* Lion King, LOVE THAT  MOVIE!

3 Times Arena. Same Place, Same Scene, Different People

1:52 pm by Yasmin Jamal 0 comments
Dreams. I love it! So much! It's one of the reasons i would sleep! Okay, i was supposed to post this dream up to illustrate to Akhmal Aiman [http://www.akhmalaiman.blogspot.com] because he was in the dream. Very rare i guess HAHAHA because my dreams usually involves other people or famous people. Anyway this dream was weird in a way..

It started like a race, more of a treasure hunt race, the scene started in an arena. Strange thing is, the arena has been in my dreams 3 times! Same arena and no change at all. Akhmal was my partner in the race. We were in the middle of the arena. A voice sounded somewhere to plan something. We were asked to plan a search to find 2 assassins. The arena has 4 openings, with stairs leading to a door. 2 stairs lead up, 2 stairs lead down. The whole scene was so familiar as i had the dream of the arena and the same scene 2 times already and i knew where the two assassins will be.  One would be in the stairs going down on the right side of the arena

kinda looks like this. That what the stairs leading down to a door looked like.
I commanded the search team to go down the opening and they found one of the assassins. Then it was me and Akhmal's  turn to go and find the assassin. I knew exactly where to go, the stairs leading up on the left of the arena.
it looked like this.

Me and Akhmal went up and open the door to what it looked like a balcony with fences, brown pick-it fences. There was a gun lying on the ground, loaded with only one bullet. In the fence there was one plank missing which made a gap to see and shoot the assassin through.
Akhmal was behind me, i held the gun, scanning what was beyond the fence. In the distance there was a door, with steps leading up to the door. And  suddenly the assassin was in front of my face. I pulled the trigger and shot him in the eye. We ran towards the door. and an old man gave a clue. " Concourse"

We ran to an area which looked like our school's concourse. there were stalls everywhere. In the middle of the concourse we were told to get a tiger and send it to one of the stalls.  The man gave a piece of paper with a word with it's letter jumbled up. It was an anagram game. I told Akhmal to figure the puzzle while i look for the place to get the tiger and bring it to the stall where Akhmal would soon figure out.

I ran up, going through every door in the corridors . i went into on of the door to see cats, big fat cat but no tigers, i ran around the whole big room and went out. Found a janitor and asked where the Duty Room was. he pointed it was next to him. I was so pissed coz he told me i was blind.  The sign was so small and below the door. who would see it?? I gave the janitor a fck u sign behind his back and he saw it. he said something and i replied " Look all i want to to is get a tiger and get this over with!!" He fell silent, he unlock the door, i went in and it was dark, no lights but with few pairs of eye in the corner.  I grabbed one of the tigers..the tiger was not fierce. More scared. I grabbed it and dragged it out of the room.

Scanning the area of the concourse for Akhmal, saw him running. Found him, dragged the scared tiger to the concourse. As i dragged the tiger downstairs to the concourse the tiger scratched me. I can feel the pain was real, deep scratch across my chest. I asked Akhmal which stall it was, on thw way to the stall the tiger bit my hand i screamed and......

the dream ended there. Weird thing is, the arena scene. I had the 2 other dream that took place in the same arena, same scene but only different people playing in the scene. OMG! =='

STAR TREK !! Me a Trekkie or a Trekker?

Live Long and Prosper..
It.
Is.
STAR TREK

Yes Star Trek, you might think this blog have been hacked by some Trekkie. But no. Yes it's me, Yasmin here and yes this blog is dedicated to Star Trek. The one i'm starting to develop an interest to.

Some people labeled people who watch or a fan of Star Trek a "geek", but no readers. We have a term for people who watch or a fan of the Enterprise. It's called "TREKKIE"

Though Star Trek enthusiasts preferred Trekker, other preferred Trekkie. The original Spock, Leonard Nimoy once attempt to set things right with the different terms and that the correct term was Trekker.

A documentary i watched on TV about the terms Trekkie and Trekker, what do they mean for the fans. Some stated that Trekker are the ones "walking with us", while Trekkies are the ones that simply sits and watch Star Trek.

Gene Roddenberry (R.I.P) the creator of the Star Trek went to a convention and used the term "Trekkies", a fan then stood up from the crowd and shouted to correct him that it was " Trekker". Gene replied "No, it's Trekkies. I should know - i invented the thing" Well, that's so true, he is the creator of Star Trek and who was that fan that stood up had to go against him, the fan is just a fan not Gene. Oh well..in that case i would rather choose the term Trekkie.

More of a newbie Trekkie. I just had the interest for a month while of fans had it for years! A month ago i watched the 2009 Star Trek.
What made me watch it? Have you ever watched Eminem's We Made You music video? That what made me want to watch Star Trek movie. I confess, every time Spock appears on the TV it reminds me of Eminem's version. And i'll laugh that's for sure. But it what make me want to watch it more! Thank that to Eminem. I enjoyed the movie and i wanted more!

I've been planning to get the episode series and watch it during my free time. Problem is, i can't find the full series. I don't want to download it from the internet, it'll just cause problems with the computer so it's a no fun. I want to watch it so bad! Maybe i can learn to speak Klingon....

"vaD quv vo' Spock [for the honor of Spock]"
(Spock's second name is unpronounceable by human therefore never revealed =P )

Let's see, so far there's a lot of Spock picture. HAHAHAH i like Spock better than the rest of the crew! I mean he has that straight face in any situation!! i'm mean SERIOUSLY! LOOK!

This is the new generation of Star Trek, the new movie in 2009. Spock portrayed by Zachary Quinto (Sylar for HEROES) and Cptn. Kirk portrayed by Chris Pine ( might recognize him from the latest movie Unstoppable)

I knew the new Spock seems so familiar and..ehem..cute =P And then i Googled...and that's him in real life with the Vulcan greeting!!

I can't do the Vulcan hand sign..YET! i want to do it so bad! It's like everyone i know can do it and i CAN'T!!! i taped my finger over night and i still can't get it =(

I promised myself that if i can make it with the Vulcan hand sign i would watch Star Trek and become a Trekkie. Trekkie wouldn't be complete without the Vulcan hand sign!! (still taping my fingers together HAHA)

Oh and look what i found that is simply illogical for Spock to do.....or maybe not

And thought you might want to know, some celebs and few famous people that is a Trekkie. And few in the list are:
Megan Fox. Daniel Craig. Whoopi Goldberg. Angelina Jolie. Tom Hanks. Eddie Murphy. Ben Stiller. Robin Williams. Frank Sinatra. Brad Paisley. Pharrell Williams. Al Gore. Barack Obama. Ronald Regan. Arnold Schwarzenegger ("i'll be back"). Stephen Hawking. Dwayne Johnson (The Rock). Sir Richard Branson ( founder of the Virgin brand). and more.

So if you're ashamed that you secretly like watching Star Trek, don't worry, a lot of famous people watches it too! And now it is logical for me to end this blog post.
Farewell and..

Hidden Beneath The Smile [Chapter 2]

Afternoon came and it was time for lunch. The smell of food filled the atmosphere. A queue of students moved slowly as they got their food on their trays, moving up to pay at the cafeteria cashier. The tables were almost full with students eating their meal, either that or more of them were chatting away with their friends.

Charlotte squint her eyes hoping that there would be a vacant table in the distance. Scanning over the crowd of the cafeteria she finally found one, a nice setting at the corner with an outdoor view. Charlotte grabbed the hand of Nikki with her free hand while the other hand was balancing the cafeteria tray. She dragged Nikki through the crowd, passing by greetings and showing her smile that says “Hello”, pleading to walk quickly before someone takes the table. They were quick but unfortunately not quick enough. At the same time as they reached the table, a group of three boys reached the table as well.

“**Letty...” said he boy in the middle.

“Joe...” Charlotte said as she looked at him eye to eye.

“You know this is a big table just for the two of you.” Joe said raising an eyebrow. He was wearing the school’s varsity jacket, all royal blue and yellow. He has dirty blonde hair which is always messy, with a few strands hanging over his blue eyes.

“Well duh! I was going to ask you if you and your guys want to sit with us. What were you thinking anyway?” Charlotte questioned him.

“Oh, Uhh.. Nothing nothing. Yeah okay, sure. There no other place left in this cafeteria anyways.” said Joe, leaving an awkward laugh at the end of his sentence.

“Smile Charlotte!” said Adam again, who suddenly took out his camera.

“Do you have to take that out every time Adam? It’s seriously getting annoying.” complained the other boy. He wore a simple grey t-shirt and black cargo pants. His short black hair didn't block his view through his pair of spectacles . He had a pair of headsets around his neck, the wire of the headsets led into his pocket where one of his many iPod(s) would be connected to it. He was carrying his usual Mac laptop under his arms. Need any help with computers? Searching for the latest songs? It’s wise to go to him. He is Ian Lucas

“True that. Hey Ian!” Nikki greeted him. Nikki, a girl of her age she was rather short. But small things come with big surprises. She has long wavy brown hair tied up into a ponytail which reveals her mesmerizing green eyes Her personality seems too much to ask for, with the tons of sarcasm, has the best wits in the class, a party girl, quite a shopaholic, very random at times and absolutely 100% awesome. Awesome was her game and she wished it would be in her name.

“Okay, can we just get a seat?” Charlotte muttered than smiled.

They all sat down at the table, finally eating their lunch. Nikki’s lunch looked more like a dessert menu. Charlotte had the peas and potato wedges. Ian had the sandwich and his regular apple juice. Joe had the day’s special soup, chunks of different vegetables bobbled up and down in the red soup. It looked hideous but smelled tempting. Adam had the waffles and a can of coke. He took a picture of his lunch before he started eating it.

“Alright Adam, hand it in. That camera of yours, come on” Charlotte put out her hand at Adam who was busy drinking the last drop of coke in the can.

“Here”

The whole group finished their food and gathered around Charlotte looking through the pictures Adam took. Joe made jokes that made everybody laughed. Ian wanted to copy the picture into his Mac. Nikki kept being random with her comments on the pictures. Adam laughed along with them as Joe pointed out a picture of Ian with his nose being just centimeters from his Mac laptop screen.

These people are Charlotte’s best friends; her group basically holds almost all the different types of student in the school. She felt so lucky to have them and in a moment like this she wish it would go on and never end. Just like a picture that doesn’t move after it’s been taken, it just stays the way it is. If she were to take a picture of this moment, Charlotte would frame and hang it up on her wall in her bedroom. To wake up and see it as a first sight, see a girl in the middle of the picture with dark brown wavy hair, blue eyes and a smile that was true to the heart, a picture that would make her smile even  in a house full of gloom.

** Letty - a nickname of Charlotte used by Joe and Ian only. =)

Ah Nah They Didn't!

Hidden Beneath The Smile [Chapter 1]

****

“Smile~!” said a voice behind a camera. A click and a flash captured a portrait of a young girl with flawless skin and a smile that would brighten any person’s day. The picture in the camera would still look perfect, even though it was actually a candid shot.

“Adam! I told you I don’t like candid pictures, I wasn't even ready!” whined the girl carrying a stack of thick Biology textbooks in her arms.

“My bad Charlotte, my bad hahaha. Trust me you don’t need to get ready, you were always ready” said Adam, raising his arms up to show surrender with a smirk upon his face.

“Ugh... Alright, you better not delete it, I want to see it later” said Charlotte with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

BRIIIIIIIING!! Saved by the school bell, Adam was able to escape before Charlotte gets a hold of him with her attitude. He turned back and started walking away from Charlotte, gripping his camera in his hand ready for another shot of photography. Just few steps walking away, “Adam…… wipe off that smirk of yours” giggled Charlotte. Adam stop dead in his tracks, Ah! She did it again. How did she know that? he thought. He looked back and saw Charlotte showing her tongue out and stride away.

“She’s one…weird girl.” Adam said under his breath, as he scratched his head and watched Charlotte walking to her next class in the distance.

“A smile does not always show that they’re happy”
...

When people smile at you, will you smile back?
Will a smile make your day?
Will a smile make you feel not threatened?
Will a smile show you that there’s nothing to worry about and everything’s alright?

Is this why you would smile?

Well, these are the reasons Charlotte Keiler chose if someone ask her such a question.

Although Charlotte is living a life of the average shy teenage girl with her family on the verge to file for divorce, she puts on a smile everywhere she goes when she’s away from her family.

Many of her friends thought her life was simply cheerful with no worries hiding in the corner, no such grief in her life. But what lays hidden beneath Charlotte’s smile, she would never dare to pull her friends into her problems.

Could it be,
one of her many friends would solve the puzzle and see the true reflection beneath her smile?

The Trade In For Another Chapter

The whole year is coming to an end and as you can realize that my blog hasn't been much active this year but that is all coming to an end well for now. School work has made it's way to the teacher's desk, the exam papers are flown to Cambridge and soon to be burn down in a furnace after 3 months to leave space for the next batch ( i really wish the authorities would just give back the paper after they marked it. The purpose to learn from our mistakes is my reasoning).

Now taking out the Relax Card that I've been saving the whole year as a reward for a good job in finally passing through the exams phase. Recently I have been thinking and i am willing to trade in 1/3 of my Relax Card opportunities for the next stepping platform in life. The next stepping platform that basically having the grip upon the occupation for me in the later life. Yes, the trade in is for stepping on to the world and experiences of college from the world of high school. Though all would be dearly missed, the juniors, the teachers, the principal, the staffs, the facilities and of course the memories that we have engraved in our previous school (SM YSHHB ). This new chapter in life is what the exam was worth doing.

College. Wow...i just realized that HAHA . So Yup, college. Actually there isn't much for me to say about it. I'm nervous and the term have not even begun. Well, I kinda got accepted before the end of the year to Meragang  College ( Pusat Tingkatan Enam Meragang/ Meragang Sixth Form )....please readers i am clearly not trying to be vain here (if that's what you're thinking, well..i'm not). I'm just very thankful i could get into college.

Though i got through the registration phase, the subjects are what holding back my dream..well,  i guess my dream was crushed on the day i was given the "wake-up call"  for choosing the subject and where in the real world i would end up with. Being in the medical stream was my dream since i was young ( well i'm still young, come on 16 coming on to 17. That's not old. Back to when i was young-ER ), doctors, nurses, pharmacist. That dream is now crushed to fragments but those fragments what will become my hope to achieve. The thought of ending up in the medical stream is now out of my head and i seem lost. Maths was the one i'm lacking of. And it was Maths that hold me back from the walking down my dream. A career counselor from the college gave me an advice and an option to choose what subjects that i would be capable of. Maths, the one subject that he mention to almost all subjects, namely Chemistry, Physics and to careers, Doctors, Pharmacist, Nurse, Engineers. Maths. I love it, but IT hates me. During exams, i stumble onto mistakes but for revisions it seems an average can-do subject. Maybe Maths is not in my blood, but as so i wish it would.

Over all i would like to thank the career counsellor for showing me the truth of how maths is so important, the advice he gives changed my so to speak attitude towards subjects =)

Despite the Maths problem, the subject that i will be taking by starting for the new term is. Biology, Geography, Psychology, Business and English (which is a compulsory, which i will surely enjoy =) ). These subjects are for the start-off term. And after i receive my Oct/Nov O'level results and accepted into the college again, teachers recommend to drop off one of the subjects that seems not to my capabilities. So, at the end, only 4 subjects are to go on for the exams of A'levels. Hopefully  it will all go well. Especially for Biology, Psychology and English those must be my favourite subjects and i'm willing to excel in it.

Allah the Almighty please be with me!

So, long story short. I'm trading in 1/3 of my O'level holidays for start-off college year. Some students may think it's crazy to start school in January when it's supposed to be a holiday..(Oh No, my birthday's in January..school..aww mahn=/ ) and some may say " relax relax". I think i have done a lot of relaxing time already. 3 days relaxation is enough for me, let alone 3 months??  My fingers won't know how to write in that time period! Starting college early has it's advantages, early start and by the time March enters with new students that subject will be scanned through again. But to every advantage there's a disadvantage. The catch to going into college in January, that when the results are out in Feb the staffs will look through the results and if you made the requirements, no change is needed. But when it is not made with the requirements, it's down back to high school even if you entered the college in January *GULP* i know.

*sigh* I  CAN'T WAIT FOR STATIONERY SHOPPING!!!!!!!

Out Of The O'Level Boot Camp

Finally! I'm back!. Okay, I know it's really off due and i was supposed to blog out right after the O'Level exam is..dare i say it...OVER! Woot Woot! and that was...exactly 2 weeks ago. I've been meaning to blog out since the last day but..blame it on Blogger or maybe the internet connection, they didn't allow me to blog. When i logged in, they logged me out. It feels like i've been exile from the site...oh that better NOT happen. I will kill em'.

The last exam experience was full of anxiety yet...the fear was not there for me..well at least it was there for Maths. But that fear that supposed to be hanging on to you in examination was not there with me. The fear that makes you study more and more and more. Instead, i seemed to treat it like a normal End Of Year exam, which in this case bad. As some people prepare for the exams by reading ahead a month before the exams begin, but the way i do it, if having the last minute touch ups.

I'll be honest with you readers, i'm not such of a bright student nor the top in the class, just the average willing to learn student. And revising ahead of time, doesn't do good for me. I mean it's like you revise the first day and you remember it for the whole week but when it comes to the last minute exams revisions you forget things and you have to start over again and the attempt may cause a skip in one of the topics. So the way i do it is to revise 2 days before or the night before on the hour before the exam. It's bad, i know. Though it pretty much helped me in the exams and went through it quite the way i want it to be (except Maths.. the struggle, it hurts), but i have to change the way i study to make sure that does NOT become a bad habit.

I tried many revision methods, eg. m-i-n-d-m-a-p-p-i-n-g (too much of a treasure hunt, the further i go in the further i get lost in the topic), flash cards ( i forget the previous after 5 cards), bright colours & illustrations to understand the topic ( it helped me but it depends on what subject) and P.N.U.M.O.N.I.C.S (That hardly works for me, trust me i've been trying to get it but with my Chemistry teacher..impossible..well not impossible just difficult).

I think it's best for me to stop right here about the past exams. As some people say,

"When you reminisce what was done, you will tend to regret it"-some people
