SALT SOLUTION + SODIUM HYDROXIDE (NaOH)

1. WHITE PPT=

Calcium (Ca).....Aluminium (Al).....Lead (Pb).....Zinc (Zn)


*Put excess=

Soluble= Aluminium (Al).....Lead (II) (Pb).....Zinc (Zn)


Insoluble=

Calcium (Ca)



*Note: this test is with SODIUM HYDROXIDE SOLUTION!!*


2. Blue Ppt=

Copper (II) (Cu 2)


3. Dirty Green Ppt=


Iron (II) (Fe 2)


4. Reddish Brown Ppt=

Iron (III) (Fe 3)


5.No Ppt=

Ammonium (NH).....Potassium (K).....Sodium (Na)

*if warmed Ammonia produced (NH 4)
