So, like i said on yesterday's post that today we will be having the Award Ceremony. And we did..
The End.
Fine, just a brief one, coz i'm tired now...i kinda hate being tired but i find sleeping very fun...well that is, if you have a nice dream.........................................................................................
Ok, it was like the usual ceremony that the school been giving for years now. Same guy doing the "GONG!!" and the same person giving the long speech. But this year the prizes aren't the same as last years. It change to trophies. Last year's were pens. But the trophies wording were clearly backwards. It didn't follow the cutting of the trophies. Tho, the school is still on a budget....
....Really, how can that be?? 200++ students, $300 per month, 12 months. Be the math geek here..it all adds up to be about $ 3,600 per student a year. How did they lose that much money? it's always a mystery in my head and i've been trying to figure it out for 3 years, with fail.

Anyway, since the F4S1's followed the choir group, we had to go up on the stage and sing the National Anthem and of course the School song, it was a sudden nervousness that striked me when i saw parents laying their eyes on the stage. Screw that, we just went on. Then the prize giving was on. Mann, i think i lowered my level this year, i only got 2 prizes, tho i'm happy enough for it, but i wanna more. So this is gonna be in my 2010 new years resolution:-
1* become more into studies.
2* excel good marks.
3*join more activities.
4* keep up with studies.
5* handle and fit time slots for activities and school work.
6* able to cope with the responsibility of school work, activities and tuition.
7* and i really wanna be the class monitor next year, well that depends on the vote.
8* and of course get the O's i need

Anyway, after the prize giving the performances were held, our tarian was out on the stage first. MAJOR MALFUNCTION!! + THE EMBARRASSMENT!! Jezz they keep us holding on the stage when the music didn't come out!! The silent treatment lasted a good 3 minutes!! It was so embarrassing. I can see the other students whispering here and there, and really, baju kurung doesn't fit the scene of the tarian, we really hoped for a costume like the other, more modern tarian performed by the Form 5's and Aisya and Seri. More colourful and energetic. And i wanna take that tarian next year. Please allow me! Once in a life time experience here, it can also up my level too!
Then there was the singing from the talented ones and a break, with food and drinks served at the back of the hall. Noodles and green cakes AHAAHAH and there's some other fingerfood but it was finished when i got there...must be delicious then. I just learnt something new today. When you mix Tea and Nescafe *added milk* it's really nice at the begining when both flavours enter your mouth, but it gives a bad after taste, it was like an overly cooked tea leaves and you boil it in hot water and drink it. Sounds kinda normal to me. After that it's all back to the class leaving an hour left til going home time.
Well that's it for today. Tata~
Teacher's Day Celebration 2009

Ok, i know it's been sometime since i posted out something. I'm still tired and waaay sleepy from the teacher's day celebration we held in school 2 days ago....i know, i didn't post the event out for two days.
Sorry, but i'm just tired and sleepy and tomorrow we're gonna have another event an Award Ceremony. That, i might talk about that tomorrow. For now, it's the event that took place 2 days ago.
Days before:
So let's see, that day was Wednesday, Oh yeah just to let you know we were told to arrange it at a very last minute..well they told us on Monday, so yeah Akhmal thought about a St.Trinian's inspired drama. And so we were on it..well he was on it first AHAHA excited much, despite of his other duties like the MC, tarian and now the drama. tsk tsk tsk, but he likes it and i can't change that.
It didn't took long for the script to be made and soon the whole drama, though things changes, from characters to names to action. But believe it or not, the whole drama was made under 2 days and thanks to who else the celebrity in the making Akhmal Aiman. Ok so drama was done, the there was tarian, we nailed the pratice..so that's off...
Now the day before the celebration, spent the whole day and mostly afternoon on the drama, then we were an information that we can use the multipurpose hall ONLY from 5.30 (which is oviously my time) til 8, but i got the permission to stay just cause~...
Let's see who stayed..me, Akhmal, Neesa, Del, Aisya and Seri...wait, is that all? fine...that's all from our class. We saw the stage was covered with props means very less space...our plans suddenly changed for tarian and of course our drama. We have to minimized it, then we helped with the decoration and went home, all tired and nervous.
The Day Itself:
The day came, woke up early got into my baju kurung and black tudong. Gawd!! Were we busy that day, so busy that i became worried for everyone else. Well, firstly we, the F4S1 girls that joined the tarian had to wear the costume as soon we arrived at the hall. Very traditional so were the guys.
AHAHhAH we're really bad in our school song, the lyrics kept repeating and rhyming that we almost forgot the lyrics. Bust that thing, we were hoping for an English school song. Then our tarian, mann were we rushing, especially Akhmal, he got to get between each show just cause he's the MC, he likes it.
I for gotten something that should never be forgotten! AHAHA the MCs aka Akhmal & Afiqah's entrance!! OMCGEE!!! AHHAAHHA we will never forget that moment AHAHA they were so wild!! Wild voices, wild struts, and even wild poses! HAHAH WORK IT MAL!!
Ok...between shows, yeah Akhmal has to rush for the tarian, we nailed it but it was so hard dealing with the space. Then lastly for F4S1 is the drama. It's about a bad reputation school trying to earn $20000 to pay the bank or else their school willbe closed down due to bankruptcy (sp?)
So actually all the F4S1 were involved even the Kosovo siblings (yes just realize they're not from Russia AHAHA sorry) The stage setting before the drama was so hectic! very hectic! Whenthe curtains closed we can't see anything, bumping here and there, looking for the microphone, uuhhhhh uber hectic. But over all the drama went so well, proud of everybody here!! WOOOHOOO!!
Then the rest of the celebration lead to Akhmal to do his job. The speeches were so touching, tho i really wanted to give a speech to Mr. Jackson eventho he's not teaching us, but he was taken before i got there. Anyway, tears roll down many cheeks.
At the end i didn't get to stay longer to give salam to the teachers and see the cake and photo taking. I missed the best part of the Teacher's Day celebration. I envy those who got to stay longer. Next year's gonna be our turn and i'm sure i'm gonna stay til the end! I don't wanna miss the last year of school without being grateful to the teachers.
Anyway that's about it, sorry no colours, due to massive amount of words to choose from AHAH so enjoy what i have now and tomorrow i'll update on the Award Ceremony....OH btw~ Movie afternoon for 2012 @ The Mall. Movie starts at 2, be there 30 mins before guys and gals!
